Hooray Akismet
Akismet is the plugin provided by WordPress to prevent comment spam. So far, it has stopped over 30,000 spam comments on this blog alone. Without it, comments would be useless. It misses maybe 2 or 3 a week, which are easily dealt with. Big thanks to WordPress for supplying a top notch solution – Free
