Cars, Rugby, Crushed Fingers and More Cars
Busy week – spent most of the week putting up Marquees at the Queenstown Events Centre for the super 14 rugby, which is where the crushed finger happened. I caught my finger between the handle of a sledgehammer and a peg. I ended up having to burn a hole in my nail to release blood trapped under there – which was fun.
Then on Saturday I bought a car and watched the rugby. The car is a 1994 Falcon – more on this later.
Sunday I wen to the Race To The Sky – a 13km gravel road hill climb. The highlight was watching Monster Tajima (sp?) running the awesome Escudo up there – a car which will be familiar to any Gran Turismo fan.
